Ability Offers NDIS outreach services across greater brisbane & online

At Ability, we are dedicated to providing accessible, timely and quality psychology services both at home, in the community (including schools!) and online. We offer both ongoing support (capacity building services) and ad hoc assessments and reports to assist individuals who connect with us under their NDIS Plan. Our outreach services are presently accessible in Greater Brisbane however we continue to support individuals across Australia via secure, online psychology sessions adeptly referred to as 'telehealth' services. At this time, we can assist both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS Participants. Unfortunately, we are not registered to assist with NDIA / agency-managed plans.

Since it's inception in 2019, Ability has offered client-centred and flexible models of service delivery to NDIS Participants across Australia. Each member of our team brings their own training, experience and skills to our practise, and is committed to providing compassionate care to our clients. Our team works with individuals and families across the lifespan, and is able to provide support for a broad range of presentations and conditions. 

Our team continues to work towards maintaining awareness of NDIS requirements and enjoy working towards established goals collaboratively with Participants of this scheme. We recognise that the NDIS is not designed to fund supports more appropriately funded or provided by the health system. Ability regularly provides both capacity-building support services as well as assessment services. Common assessments include cognitive and functional assessments which are fully funded under an individual's NDIS Plan to inform planning activities and support recommendations. Given the nature of the assessment/s, these findings may also be relevant and helpful when considered in other contexts, such as participation in allied health services, learning and education.
